Safety at the Cliff Morton Development & Business Services Center is a top priority. As such, DSD implemented new security measures, including a metal detector, visitor check-in system, and SAPD presence onsite during business hours.
Please note that our security screening process requires all visitors to enter at the front of the building to pass through a metal detector. Upon entry, security personnel will scan all personal belongings for prohibited items including:
- Metal nail files
- Pocket knives
- Firearms
- Box cutters
- Scissors
- Razor blades
- Pepper spray
- Stun gun or taser
- Any item designated or altered to function as a weapon
To accommodate the new security measures, please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to visiting us.
In addition, you may park in the lot adjacent to the building or the lot across the street at 1902 S Alamo (usually this one has more capacity); for your safety, please use the crosswalk if parking across the street.
