Danny Liguez was appointed Interim Assistant Director of the Code Enforcement Division for the City of San Antonio in February 2026. In this role, he oversees Code Field Units, the Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NET), the Zoning and Permitting Team, the Graffiti Abatement Program, the Building Standards Board Support Unit, and operational staff supporting Code Enforcement activities.
Mr. Liguez began his career with the City in September 2000 and brings more than two decades of public service experience focused on property maintenance, dangerous structures, zoning compliance, and nuisance abatement—work that directly impacts the health, safety, and quality of life of San Antonio residents. Throughout his tenure, he has held several leadership roles, including Code Enforcement Supervisor, Development Services Manager, and most recently, Code Enforcement Administrator.
