The Development Services Department (DSD) is committed to strengthening Code Enforcement in San Antonio to better serve the community and protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods. Code Enforcement plays an important role in ensuring properties are safe, clean, and in compliance with City standards.
To support this goal, DSD developed a Code Enforcement Strategic Plan focused on reflecting the needs of our community, improving communication, and increasing responsiveness.
This plan is intended to be a living document that will continue to evolve based on community feedback. Through this inclusive and structured approach, San Antonio is positioned to deliver more effective, equitable, and community-centered Code Enforcement services—helping shape the future of our neighborhoods for years to come.
