Clinician Ambassadors, part of Metro Health's Access to Care Office, work to promote evidence-based, culturally competent, trauma-informed and stigma-free health care.

What We Offer

  • Strategies to improve access to quality health care and reduce HIV/STIs in Bexar County.
  • Personalized visits that meet Bexar County providers where they are.
  • Flexible meeting options: in-person or virtual, one-on-one or in a group setting, discussions or educational presentations.

Academic Detailing

Our Clinician Ambassadors are trained through the National Resource Center for Academic Detailing (NaRCAD), the only national technical assistance and capacity-building resource center for clinical outreach education.

Accreditation

Metro Health is an accredited provider of continuing nursing education (CNE) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and continuing medical education (CME) through the Texas Medical Association.
