Communicable Disease
The Communicable Disease division at Metro Health is responsible for recognizing, identifying, and responding to events such as disease outbreaks, epidemics, and pandemics in accordance with local, national, state mandates and guidelines. The division provides our health care system, community-based organizations and partners, and the community at large with timely and accurate information about the control and prevention of communicable diseases.
