Trauma-Informed Care Consortium

The South Texas Trauma-Informed Care Consortium is a collaboration between The Children’s Shelter, Voices for Children and our Metro Health Department.

The consortium brings together community partners across all sectors who are committed to addressing the impact of trauma.

Its initial priorities include:

• Gathering data to understand community needs connecting with existing coalitions within the community
• Developing community training
• Developing an advocacy plan
