File a Police Report

NOTE: In an emergency, please call 9-1-1.

You may file an online report for certain nonviolent crimes, or to create an official record of an incident or loss.

After your report is filed, you will receive a reference number and can download a copy of your report for your records.

Please note:

  • The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) reviews all cases filed using this system.
  • SAPD may contact you if further investigation of your case is needed.
  • We don’t further investigate all cases.
  • Filing a false police report is a crime.
