Property Crimes Task Force

The Property Crimes Task Force investigates property crimes that occur within the City of San Antonio. They provide quality service to citizens by working with residents and businesses to reduce crime.

• Theft of Service
• Criminal Mischief
• Reckless Damage or Destruction
• Burglaries
• Criminal Trespass
• Graffiti
• False Alarm or Report
• Cruelty to Animals
• Cargo Theft

Report a Crime

Most property crimes aren’t emergencies. If your situation does demand immediate attention, please call 9-1-1 and ask that an officer respond. 

File a Police Report

You can call to make an appointment to discuss your case.

During your appointment, a detective will:

• Review your records
• Advise you about next steps
• Advise you on any documentation needed to prove a criminal case 

Submitting Photos and Video

If you have surveillance video of the offense, email a copy to SAPDPropertyCrimes@sanantonio.gov.

Please include the case number and location of the offense in the title of the email. Please note that large files may not be accepted, so smaller clips are preferred.
