Family Assistance Crisis Team (FACT) is a collaborative community program. Consisting of trained community volunteers, FACT offers crisis intervention services to victims and their families.
Since it was founded in 1991 as part of the Victims Advocacy Office, more than 1,800 FACT volunteers have completed training. FACT volunteers have a variety of evening and night-time assignments available to them after attending a class.
Any San Antonio resident who is at least 18 years old and has good standing in the community is welcome to apply to the Family Assistance Crisis Team. Applicants will be background checked, and must submit an application before being considered for the program.
Applications may be submitted by mail or in person.
