San Antonio Neighbors Together is an annual event held on the first Tuesday of October. The event focuses on strengthening relationships between local police and the communities they serve. At these events, neighborhoods connect with City departments, and learn tips on crime prevention.
Residents are often unaware of the variety of services and events that the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) offers to help educate communities. This event can help the police inform communities of what’s going on in their neighborhoods.
Get Involved
All types of community groups are encouraged to participate in San Antonio Neighbors Together. To get involved, talk to your neighbors about crime issues in your neighborhood, and register with us for more information.
San Antonio Neighbors Together events can be as big or small as you want. They can be as simple as inviting a few neighbors over and discussing the importance of leaving porch lights on at night to deter criminals. The best crime fighting tool is often community involvement.
