Acting Chief of Police, Jesus Salame, Jr.
Career
Jesus "Jesse" Salame graduated from the San Antonio Police Training Academy in December 1999. During his 26-year career with the San Antonio Police Department, he has served in a variety of assignments and at every rank within the Department.
His experience includes Patrol, Homicide, Public Integrity, serving as the Department's Spokesperson, Chief of Staff, and Assistant Chief, where he oversaw the department's investigative and support functions.
