Community Baby Shower Celebrates Moms-to-Be
Published on February 26, 2026
The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) Healthy Start Program is hosting a Community Baby Shower to support expecting families and promote healthy pregnancies and early childhood health.
This family-friendly event is open to all pregnant moms in San Antonio and their families. Attendees will receive education, resources and support to help ensure a healthy start for both mom and baby.
Maternal, child, and family health is a foundational role of public health. By ensuring families have access to care, education, and early support, we strengthen outcomes before, during, and after pregnancy. These early investments help improve birth outcomes, support healthy child development and build stronger communities.
The event also reinforces Metro Health’s commitment to improving maternal and infant health outcomes across San Antonio by connecting families to trusted programs and community-based services.
