San Antonio Neighbors Together

San Antonio Neighbors Together is an annual community engagement event hosted by the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD).

Held on the first Tuesday of October, the event is designed to bring neighbors together across the city to build stronger community connections and encourage positive relationships between residents and local law enforcement.

Connect With Your Community

The program provides an opportunity for neighborhoods to host or participate in gatherings such as block parties, community meetings, or small neighborhood socials. These events help residents connect with one another, learn more about available City services, and engage with representatives from the San Antonio Police Department and other City departments.

San Antonio Neighbors Together also serves as a way for SAPD to share information about community programs, public safety resources, and neighborhood-focused initiatives. Residents are encouraged to participate, ask questions, and stay informed about efforts taking place in their area.

Get Involved

All neighborhoods, community organizations, schools, faith-based groups, and local businesses are encouraged to participate in San Antonio Neighbors Together.

Participation can be as simple as gathering a few neighbors for conversation or as large as organizing a full community event. Activities may include neighborhood cookouts, potlucks, meet-and-greets, or informational gatherings.

The goal is simple: strengthening community relationships and encouraging collaboration among neighbors and public safety partners throughout San Antonio.
