Designed by local firms, StudioMassivo and Timberlyne Group, this casita brings in natural light. The design creates an airy and inviting living space that connects to the outdoors. Finished with a metal roof and natural wood siding, this casita is sustainable, beautiful, and durable. The design method ensures fast-track construction. Hinter Haus supports San Antonio's sustainability goals and provides users with a lifetime of energy savings.
This mass timber accessible casita is a two-story structure and includes a full-size kitchen and bathroom. The second story is a loft featuring transom and clerestory windows. The exposed mass timber frame is wrapped in structural insulated panel (SIP) panel technology.
