Charge

The Renter's Solutions Subcommittee is charged to advise the Housing Commission on renter-related issues including, but not limited to:

  • emergency rental assistance
  • tenants' rights and legal aid
  • education, outreach and training
  • legislative items

Goals

  • Make recommendations to Housing Commission on renter-related issues.
  • Ensure renters have a voice on renter-related issues that are part of Commission conversations.
  • Encourage development of relationships and understanding between property managers and renters.

  • 4 renters
  • 3 property managers or owners
  • 2 housing commissioners
Term Length
Staggered two-year terms, with a two-term limit.
