Veronica Garcia is the Director of the Neighborhood & Housing Services Department. She oversees federal grant administration and monitoring, development, affordable housing preservation and rehabilitation, housing access and stability programs, housing policy, and the department’s community engagement efforts. Furthermore, the department is responsible for implementing the $150 million housing bond which will produce and preserve affordable housing in our city. Veronica has been with the City for over 17 years and is a graduate of Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Business Administration. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
