This casita gives a historical nod to San Antonio’s porch culture by featuring a large porch designed to encourage outdoor interaction. This porch is shaded by a wood trellis, which also helps keep the casita cooler during the heat of Texas summers.
The design focuses on energy efficiency. It uses standard wood framing and dual-pane windows. There's an option for salvaged wood siding.
Overall, this casita offers a welcoming, practical space, improving life quality and community ties.
