Permanent Supportive Housing

$25 million to connect unhoused neighbors to housing with resources.

San Antonio voters approved the 2022 - 2027 Bond Program on May 7, 2022. The Affordable Housing Bond includes $150 million for the City of San Antonio to create and preserve affordable housing in five funding categories. One of those categories is focused on connecting unhoused neighbors to housing with resources.

Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) serves people who experience homelessness, including people experiencing chronic homelessness and have a disabling condition. Projects can include preserving or building new homes.

PSH combines housing with support, including medical and mental health care. The goal is to help people in our communities live with care and stability.
