Code Enforcement liens are typically imposed following an abatement, which the City performs when an owner fails to remedy a violation that poses a danger to health, life or safety.
You may request to pay off and release your lien through the Finance Department. Requests are processed in the order that they are received.
Documents for Code Lien Payoff or Release of Lien will be delivered to the requestor within 15 – 20 business days from the original request. The requestor is responsible for filing the Release of Lien document with the County Clerk.
