NOTE: The City of San Antonio has contracted with Avenu Insights & Analytics to administer HOT collections.
Hotels with 100 or more rooms and listed on the TPID Assessment Roll. They are responsible for collecting, reporting, and paying applicable TPID assessments.
In general, the same rules that apply to Hotel Occupancy Taxes (HOT), apply to the TPID Assessment Fee which is 1.25% of net hotel receipts.
Reporting
Hotels participating in the TPID must report both TPID Assessment Fee and Hotel Occupancy Tax.
Hotels can report and pay HOT online.
