Labor Compliance & LCPtracker

Overview

Labor Compliance monitors all City of San Antonio construction contract projects for prevailing wage requirement compliance as defined in:

  • Chapter 2258 of the Texas Government Code Statute (Prevailing Wage Rates)
  • City Ordinance 2008-11-20-1045 with attached General Conditions
  • the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standard Act as amended (Overtime)
  • the Copeland (Anti-Kickback) Act
  • the Davis-Bacon Act as amended
  • the False Information Act

Certified payrolls are required to be submitted on a weekly basis via LCPtracker. Project field visits are conducted to interview mechanics and laborers to ensure prevailing wage compliance. Contractors are notified of any prevailing wage violations, which carry a $60 a day/occurrence per employee penalty.
