Career

Christie Chapman is the Assistant Director over Support Services Division of the Capital Delivery Department. The focus of this division is to provide critical support necessary to ensure the successful delivery of capital projects. The Division includes dedicated teams within five essential areas:

  • Fiscal Management
  • PRIMELink
  • Real Estate Acquisitions and Dispositions
  • Labor Compliance
  • Contract Compliance

With over 24 years of extensive experience in municipal government, Christie has worked in Development Services, Planning, Public Works, and Capital Delivery. She began her career with the City of San Antonio as a Planner in Development Services and later held roles as a Senior Planner in the Planning Department, and as a Special Projects Manager and an Assistant to the Director in Public Works.

Prior to joining the City of San Antonio, Christie spent several years working in public school administration.
