311 Customer Service connects you with customer service representatives that are ready to assist with City service requests including potholes, stray animals, downed street signs, traffic signal malfunctions, trash and bulky/brush curbside collection

City of San Antonio Community Connections Hotline

Call 210-207-1799, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The hotline is staffed by trained specialists and benefits navigators who offer one-on-one support to help callers understand and apply for public benefits such as SNAP, Medicaid, unemployment assistance, housing assistance, emergency shelter, transitional-housing, and other critical programs that can improve stability and quality of life.

Military & Veteran Assistance

The City’s Military & Veterans Services Department (MVAD) partners with the San Antonio Joint Base system to support San Antonio's military community and their families. For assistance and resources, Visit the Military & Veteran Affairs Website.

'Care Link’ is a financial assistance program that is managed by University Health to assist Bexar County families who do not have health insurance and do not qualify for other coverage.

    • Each SAPD substation includes a San Antonio Fear Free Environment (SAFFE) Unit with officers assigned to specific streets or neighborhoods.
