Consul General of México in San Antonio
Dr. Rubén Minutti Zanatta has served as the Consul General of Mexico in San Antonio since January 2020, bringing over 25 years of public service experience.
Previously, he was a magistrate on Mexico City's Administrative Tribunal (2003 - 2019) and legal advisor to the city's Secretary of Government (2001 - 2002). He also practiced law in civil, administrative and constitutional litigation, including North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) Chapter XIX trade disputes.
Dr. Minutti earned his law degree with honors from Escuela Libre de Derecho, an LL.M. from the University of Texas at Austin and a doctorate from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
A published scholar and translator, he advocates for transparency and access to justice.
