Supplier Engagement

The City of San Antonio offers supplier engagement support to the local business community that uses a targeted outreach approach to increases participation in City contracting. This initiative also ensures equitable access to procurement opportunities through strengthening awareness, training/resources and support.

One-on-One Help

One-on-one question and answer office hours are available at Launch SA on the last Thursday of each month. There is free 3-hour parking available with ticket validation.

Programs & Certifications

Vendor Development Academy

This is a free program available to small business owners that pairs qualified participants with successful business owners to learn from and gain valuable knowledge. Based on their business industry focus, participants will be paired with a mentor after completing eight online core courses with the Alamo Colleges District.

Vendor Certification

The City of San Antonio requires certification through South Central Texas Regional Certification Agency (SCTRCA) in order to be eligible to participate in the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) preference program.
