Supplier Engagement

The City of San Antonio offers supplier engagement support to the local business community that uses a targeted outreach approach to increases participation in City contracting. This initiative also ensures equitable access to procurement opportunities through strengthening awareness, training/resources and support.

One-on-One Help

Launch SA

Launch SA is the navigator that connects small businesses and entrepreneurs to the resources they need to help them succeed.

Launch SA is located on the 1st floor of the Central Library. They offer free 3-hour parking with ticket validation.

NOTE: Security will allow guests in for Launch SA services. Please check the Central Library Hours.

Programs & Certifications

Vendor Development Academy

This is a free program available to small business owners that pairs qualified participants with successful business owners to learn from and gain valuable knowledge. Based on their business industry focus, participants will be paired with a mentor after completing eight online core courses with the Alamo Colleges District.

Vendor Certification

The City of San Antonio requires certification through Supply SA in order to be eligible to participate in the Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) preference program.
