The Online Payment System allows you to resolve certain cases without the necessity of a court appearance for some Traffic, Misdemeanor and Parking Citations.

You may request and receive Deferred Disposition (Probation) or a Driver Safety Course to have your citation dismissed.

NOTE: You may make a request in writing to the Court before your court date as assigned on your citation or summons.

Step 1.Accepted Payments

Do not send cash.

Pay the full amount listed on the citation.

The following payment types are accepted by mail:

  • Personal Check (Not Temporary)
  • Money Order
  • Cashier's Check

NOTE: There is a $30 fee for all returned checks.

Step 2.Address Your Payment

Make check or money order payable to: City of San Antonio.

Clearly print the citation/case number, your name and date of birth on the check or money order to ensure the correct citation is credited.

When You Must Appear at the Municipal Courthouse

You must appear at the Municipal Court if you are set for any of the specialty court cases which include:

  • Animal Cases
  • Family Violence Cases
  • Code Compliance Cases
  • Juvenile Offenses
  • Minor Alcohol Cases
