Deferred Disposition is an option that will keep your citation from being reported as a conviction on your driving record. You may request to have your citation dismissed by doing all of the following:
- Plead “no contest” or “guilty.”
- Pay court costs.
- If assessed, pay a special expense fee not to exceed the maximum amount of the fine.
The Municipal Court Judge will dismiss the citation upon successful completion.
NOTE: Deferred disposition is not available for all violations.
