The City of San Antonio aims to equip our business community and everyday citizens with information and data to help you thrive.

From reports to dashboards, we hope to not only engage citizens but also increase transparency. We aim to showcase the data that guides how we evaluate programs, improve services, monitor our performance and track progress.

Strategic Framework

This serves as the foundation for the City’s economic development policy. The current document was published and accepted by City Council in October 2022.

This is an interactive tool offered to the public. This dashboard displays current information on Economic Development Department (EDD) programs, community outcomes and economic indicators that impact the business community and citizens at large.

Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA)

SBEDA Reports

The SBEDA Annual Report Data Appendix represents actual payments during City of San Antonio Fiscal Year (October 1 – September 30) to Small, Minority, and/or Women Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE) prime contractors and subcontractors participating on City contracts in which the SBEDA program applied. Disparity Study

Through the SBEDA Program, the Disparity Study(PDF, 6MB) seeks to ensure that:

  • Minority and Woman-Owned Businesses (M/WBEs) have equal access to contracting opportunities.
  • The City’s SBEDA program remains legally defensible and effective in its mission.

Buy Local Initiative(PDF, 18MB)

The City makes a serious effort to support local small businesses. This report offers recommendations on ways to influence our community and visitors to shop small using our Buy Local campaign as a catalyst.

Metro Priority Plan

This plan describes San Antonio's international strategy to elevate the City as a global leader by:

  • developing pathways with key global markets.
  • increasing our city's connection with the world by way of diplomacy, business culture and education.
Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Report(PDF, 914KB)

The PACE Act created an innovative financing tool. It applies to owners of commercial, industrial, nonprofit and large multi-family residential properties. It allows them access to low-cost, long-term loans to conduct energy efficiency and water conservation improvements to real property. Learn more about PACE.
