Curbside Brush & Bulky Item Collection

Curbside brush and bulky item collection is provided twice for each per year. Use Find My Collection Day for an estimated timeframe of your collection date.

Customers will be notified of their collection week 7-10 days before collection via a door hanger. If you have any questions or have not received a door hanger, call 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000.

Guidelines

  • The date on the door hanger states when your pile should be set out. It is NOT the actual day of collection. Collections can take up to a week to complete.
  • Piles should be no more than eight cubic yards and placed within eight feet of the curb.
    • Even if your garbage is serviced in the alley, your brush or bulky pile must be placed at curbside in front of your house for collection.
  • Your pile should be ready for pickup no later than 7 a.m. on the Monday of your scheduled collection week.
  • Piles should not be obstructed, in front of parked cars or under low hanging tree limbs.
  • Do not place any material on vacant lots.
  • For paper bagged leaves, call 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000 for a special Leaf Collection.
