International Protocol

The City's Global Engagement team works closely with overseas partners and with San Antonio's business, civic, educational, cultural, military and ethnic groups to coordinate on international projects and initiatives. The team provides support to municipal officials traveling abroad and welcomes official international delegations to San Antonio by conducting research, crafting detailed itineraries and preparing protocol briefings.

An important aspect of protocol also includes the display of national flags and the City's comprehensive collection of over 150 flags, available for loan free-of-charge, is a key benefit for local community members.
