Alfred Breuer was appointed as the Economic Development Assistant Director of Strategic Development in January 2025. In this capacity, he leads the following divisions:
Alfred previously served as the Economic Development Manager for the City of San Antonio, where he focused on building collaboration across the city's economic development community and supporting businesses in expanding and growing their presence in San Antonio.
Prior to joining the City of San Antonio, Alfred led business outreach efforts for the San Antonio and Corpus Christi regions for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, San Antonio Branch.
Alfred has also held roles with the Texas State Legislature, H+K Strategies and a trade association in Washington, D.C.
