Our Family Assistance Centers work with individuals and families and in the San Antonio/ Bexar County community. The Training for Job Success program is designed to support individuals as they prepare for better employment.
The Training for Job Success Program is a partner of the City of San Antonio’s Ready to Work program.
Eligibility
- Proof of citizenship or legal residency for every member in the household.
- Must meet income requirements at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- Accepted or enrolled in a high-demand occupation program.
- Living in San Antonio or Bexar County.
Benefits
The Training for Job Success Program offers the following resources and services for individuals seeking better employment:
- Job readiness activities such as assistance with résumé writing, interviewing skills and job leads.
- Scholarship opportunities for Alamo Colleges Demand Occupations Training Programs.
- Textbooks, supplies and uniforms required for Demand Occupations Training Programs.
- One-on-One career coaching, case management services and counseling services.
- Assistance with utilities and rent.
- Connection to other community resources.
