San Antonio’s updated Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) zoning code was launched in January 2025. It makes it easier for property owners near VIA’s Green Line to build walkable, mixed-use communities. The new code supports a range of housing types, flexible land uses and reduced parking requirements. They are all designed to bring homes, jobs and public transit closer together.
