Parking & Transportation Assistance

Step 1.Sign Up to Speak

Follow the steps below to sign up.

• Select the meeting you want to participate in.
• Select the agenda item you would like to speak on.
• Click on "Request to Speak" and fill out the form.
• In the form question: "Will you need assistance with parking via a parking validation?" Select Yes.
• You'll receive an email confirmation.

Step 2.Day of the Meeting

Park at the City Tower Parking Garage:

Parking Validation

• When you pull into City Tower Parking Garage, obtain a parking ticket from the entry gate.
• Bring the parking ticket to the City Council meeting.
• Present your parking ticket and SASpeakUp registration email to a City staff member at the lobby desk to receive your parking validation.
• Exit the garage by submitting your parking ticket, followed by your validation ticket.

• In the form, select the agenda item you would like to speak on.
• In the form question: "Will you need assistance with transportation through VIA Metropolitan Transit?" Select Yes.
• You'll receive an email confirmation.

Step 2.Day of the Meeting

• Present your confirmation email to the VIA bus operator when boarding the bus for a free trip to City Hall.
• Pass is only valid for the day you are registered to speak on.
• Bring the confirmation email with you to the City Council meeting.
• After you are called on to speak at City Council, present this email to City staff in the lobby of City Council Chambers.
• Staff will provide a VIA pass for your ride home.
