Ana Bradshaw was appointed Economic Development Assistant Director in April 2021. She leads the Small Business division and administers the City's Small Business Economic Development Advocacy (SBEDA) Program. It provides access to City contracts by promoting the participation of eligible local small, minority and woman-owned businesses to address historically documented disparities.
Ana was instrumental in the creation and ongoing implementation of the City's $33 Million investment in local small businesses, which was funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
She has served the City for over 17 years, including various roles in the:
Prior to her appointment, Ana served as the City's first COVID-19 Executive Officer, charged with managing and reporting on the City's COVID-19 response and the Recovery and Resiliency Plan.
