Assistant Director, John Stevens

John Stevens, Assistant Director of CCDO

John Stevens was appointed Assistant Director of Center City Development & Operations (CCDO) in November 2022. As Assistant Director, he oversees the following:

  • Downtown Cultural Facilities & Events
  • Contracts and Concessions
  • Fiscal Operations
  • Special Projects (dockless vehicles, City Tower renovation)

John has been with the City since 2011. Prior to this role, John served as the Assistant to the Director for CCDO while also managing the renovations of City Hall and the City’s consolidated office building, City Tower. John began his tenure with the City as a Management Fellow and later spent time within the City Manager’s Office and Office of Historic Preservation.

John has a Master of Public Administration and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University.
