This initiative helps educate San Antonio residents on electric vehicle (EV) ownership. Ambassadors share their experiences and help debunk myths and falsehoods around electric vehicles.
What Ambassadors Do
As an ambassador, you can help us plan the future of San Antonio transportation, the environment and electrical mobility.
- Share your love of electric mobility with the general public.
- Be one of the first invited to participate in community events on electric mobility and meet other electric mobility users.
- Provide input to the City on electric mobility infrastructure.
- Be featured in City electric mobility content.
- Earn volunteer hours.
- Receive regular updates on local electric charging infrastructure.
Eligibility
To participate as an ambassador, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be over 18.
- Must own an electric vehicle (car, truck, scooter, bike, etc.).

The fleet is comprised of the inventory of vehicles owned by the ambassadors. We welcome all types of EVs regardless of make or model.
