Regional Planning Projects

The Regional Planning Division staff administers the City's Annexation and Growth Management Policy by processing requests for:

• The City's consent to the creation of Special Districts.
• Municipal and ETJ boundary adjustments, and voluntary annexations.
• partnering with regional planning agencies.

Approved Projects

The Regional Planning Division negotiates and processes legal agreements between the City of San Antonio and other cities and landowners in the City's ETJ by preparing information and recommendations for items requiring Council action.
