Goliad Road

The Brooks Area Regional Center Plan identified Goliad Road as important for revitalization. The revitalization plan project will study 2.75 miles of the Goliad Road corridor between E. Southcross and I-37. The goal is to identify investments and other initiatives to improve the corridor over the next ten years.

  • Improved landscaping and more trees to provide shade.
  • Better access from Goliad Road to nearby neighborhoods.
  • Guide future development and redevelopment along the corridor.
  • More businesses and services that are accessible to area residents.
  • A coordinated parking strategy.
  • Keep the housing along the corridor in place
