The Procurement Division of the Finance Department has been awarded the prestigious 2025 Annual Achievement of Excellence in Procurement from the National Procurement Institute, Inc. (NPI). The AEP program encourages the development of excellence as well as continued organizational improvement to earn the award annually.
For 2025, this marks the 28th consecutive year that the City of San Antonio has earned this recognition. The City is one of only 10 agencies in AEP history to have received the award for 28 years or more since the program's inception in 1996. Additionally, San Antonio is among 29 agencies in Texas that were awarded this honor this year.
