"Throughout my City career I have been afforded many opportunities for personal and professional development. Through the Lunch and Learn Program I have earned an Associate Degree in Public Administration. In 2010, I took on family obligations and found it impossible to continue going to school.
Within the last year I took advantage of the Upgrade Program, which has provided me with direction and guidance to continue my education. In May 2018, I earned a second Associate Degree in Business Administration from San Antonio College and also received my Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science from Texas A&M University San Antonio.
Additionally, since 2015 I have been a Train the Trainer and in 2017, I became a first-time homeowner through the Home Ownership Program for Employees. The City, my employer of choice, has provided me foundation, stability, security, and a future!"
