2026 SWAT Challenge

Next date: Saturday, November 28, 2026 | 08:00 AM

The San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) will host the 2026 SAPD SWAT Challenge, bringing together teams from across Greater San Antonio to compete against the SAPD SWAT Team in a timed, simulated hostage rescue scenario.

The competition will test teamwork, communication, decision-making, and adaptability under pressure. To ensure fairness, all teams—including SAPD SWAT—will face an unknown scenario designed and reviewed by former SWAT competition team members.

The event promotes professional collaboration, friendly competition, and community engagement while showcasing the skills and dedication required in tactical operations.
