Mission Statement

We commit to improving quality of life by continuously providing transparent information, driving process improvement and integrating community safety services to deliver holistic solutions for all of San Antonio.

Strategic Goals

To fulfill this mission, the Integrated Community Safety Office (ICSO) will focus on five key strategic goals:

  1. Enhance Public Trust and Transparency: Improve how the public accesses and understands departmental information and processes related to community safety to build stronger relationships.
  2. Optimize Community Safety Systems and Services: Drive process improvements and integrate city services to create a more efficient, collaborative and responsive network for addressing community safety needs.
  3. Expand and Strengthen Community Partnerships: Build robust relationships with community organizations, non-profits and neighborhood groups to co-create and deliver holistic community safety solutions.
  4. Promote Data-Informed Decision Making: Ensure that all departmental and partner efforts are guided by relevant data to identify community safety needs, allocate resources effectively, and measure success.
  5. Improve Community Safety Outcomes: Implement effective strategies that lead to a measurable improvement in the overall community safety and well-being of San Antonio's residents.
