Family Service Association: Family Service Association of San Antonio has been building strong families since 1903. It is the oldest human service agency in San Antonio dedicated to helping children, seniors, and families in need. From multiple neighborhood locations and from more than 56 school campuses, Family Service provides high quality service in various languages to the residents of Bexar county and surrounding counties of all ethnic and racial backgrounds and all socio-economic levels.
United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County: United Way has become synonymous with caring and helping children, families and individuals. United Way has a long tradition of helping people with basic needs - food, clothing, shelter and safety - and changing lives through strong, well-managed programs. United Way is also engaging the community to get to the heart of problems. In San Antonio, United Way focuses on improving early care and education for children, helping students succeed in school, and strengthening families. The United Way 2-1-1 Help Line is a critical link for over half a million callers a year seeking assistance and referrals to health and human services across the area. Through community initiatives like these and investment in 135 outcomes-based programs at 62 agencies, United Way is helping to change people's lives.

Bloomberg Philanthropies: Bloomberg Philanthropies works primarily to advance five areas globally: the Arts, Education, the Environment, Government Innovation, and Public Health. In 2011, $330 million was distributed. Government Innovation efforts, including the Financial Empowerment Centers, are part of the Mayors Project, which seeks to spread proven and promising ideas among cities. Other Mayors Project investments include Cities of Service and Innovation Delivery Teams.
Cities for Financial Empowerment (CFE) Fund: The CFE Fund's mission is to leverage municipal engagement to improve the financial stability of low and moderate income households by embedding financial empowerment strategies into local government infrastructure. The Fund will work with mayoral administrations and those interested in supporting them to actually "pull triggers " - and will measure its success accordingly.
Living Cities: Living Cities harnesses the collective power of philanthropy and financial institutions to improve the lives of low-income people and the cities where they live.
