Prequalified Public Art List

Public Art Projects are created for the City of San Antonio by:

  • visual artists
  • designers
  • fabricators
  • installation experts
  • marketing professionals

To be considered for future Public Art Projects, apply and receive approval for the Prequalified Public Art List.

The Department opens applications for the Prequalified Public Art List every other year. Visual artists and support service providers are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: The application window is currently closed.

Term & Application Changes

  • The application will now allow applicants to remain prequalified for six years (instead of three years) following City Council approval.
  • Applications will be opened bi-annually (every two years). After the FY 2025 application, the next application period will open in FY 2027.
