Centro de Artes gallery is always free to visit.

Located in the heart of downtown in Historic Market Square. The exhibition space hosts year-round exhibitions and programming with over 20,000 visitors annually. 

Mission

Centro de Artes is an institution dedicated to telling the story of the Latino experience in the U.S. with a focus on South Texas through local and regional art, history and culture, and a commitment to showcase the transnational experience of Latinos in the U.S.

The Centro de Artes Strategic Plan(PDF, 209KB) was developed between 2017 – 2022 to guide the vision for Centro de Artes.
