All pools will close when there are weather events such as lightning and thunderstorms. We follow the guidance of the National Weather Service. Check the current status of pools by calling 210-207-3299.

Let's Swim SA

Our free group summer swim lessons are offered at all 24 outdoor pool locations for all ages. Lessons are designed for beginner and intermediate skill levels for ages 6 months through adult.

Pool locations vary by session dates. Instruction days, times, and class offerings vary by pool location.

Atanacio Garcia Natatorium Swim Lessons

Free group lessons and low-cost private lessons are offered in the spring and fall. Lessons are designed for beginner and intermediate skill levels for ages 6 months through adult.

Aqua Fitness

  • Aqua Board HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) is done on top of the water using specialized floating Aqua Fit boards.
  • Aqua Combat will help you gain muscular strength, endurance, and coordination through water resistance training. It also involves choreographed mixed martial arts inspired movements.
  • Aqua Rhythms is an energy packed water aerobics and strength training combo class!
  • Aqua Zumba is the exciting pool party you don't want to miss.
  • Lap Swimming provides a full body workout by targeting three important types of exercise: cardio, flexibility and strength training.
  • Water Aerobics are a great low impact workout, in shallow water, using the resistance of the water to produce a full body workout.
  • Water Walking is great way to use the natural resistance of the water to challenge and strengthen your muscles.
