The City offers education and outreach opportunities to help the community learn about storm water, water conservation and keeping our rivers and creeks healthy. Programs include school and community presentations, event exhibits and speaker series led by Remember the River staff and the San Antonio Water System (SAWS).

Remember the River Staff

Storm Water Presentation
  • 30-minute presentation in English
  • for general audiences
  • topics: storm water runoff, household hazardous waste disposal, lawn care, car care, pet waste pickup, illegal dumping and Adopt-A-Spot Program
Community Event Exhibit
  • single table with staff member and educational materials, plus interactive activities for the duration of event
