The Homeless Outreach Team engage with unsheltered neighbors experiencing homelessness to build trust, offer support and connect individuals to safe housing options.
An outreach specialist is assigned to each district in the city and engage with neighbors once a week at minimum. They work with SAFFE Officers, Code Enforcement, neighborhood associations, businesses and in communities to inform and develop a compassionate strategy to address homelessness within their districts.
