Scholarship

• Must apply online via the San Antonio Area Foundation website
• Please click on the “CREATE NEW ACCOUNT” button or the “FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?” link.
  • “CREATE NEW ACCOUNT”: You will be prompted to provide basic contact information for a new account.
  • “FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?”: Please follow directions to reset your password.
• Once logged in, click Apply in the top left corner.
• Locate the “Universal Application for School Year 2025-2026” application and click on the blue Apply button to begin the application.
• Please continue to fill out the application to be considered for up to 66 different scholarship opportunities.

Applicant must be:

• Be graduating from Bexar County
• Be a graduating High School Senior the current upcoming year
• Complete all application items. Do not leave any blanks. For items not applicable, write “N/A” or “none”.
• Upload an official high school transcript to include Fall 2024 grades.
• Once you complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), submit a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR)
• Be ready to provide two letters of recommendation. The letters must be written by one of the following:
  • Counselor or teacher of an academic course.
  • Your employer, clergy person or extra-curricular sponsor (Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts, pep squad sponsor, etc.)
